Why Ident Is System-Managed
The Ident field is managed automatically by Eggy BNC.
It is not treated as a Free or Premium editable feature.
How ident is determined
Eggy BNC derives a consistent ident from safe account or network nickname information when network settings are saved.
This helps keep the account configuration predictable and prevents unsafe or inconsistent manual values.
Why the field is read-only
System management helps prevent:
