What Apply & Reconnect Does
The Apply & Reconnect action safely applies a selected vHost to one IRC network.
Before changing the active BindHost, the dashboard checks the saved server configuration for the selected network.
The process is designed to:
No full BNC restart
Applying a vHost does not require the entire BNC service to be restarted.
Only the affected IRC network should reconnect.
Wait for the result
Do not repeatedly press Apply & Reconnect.
Submit the action once and allow the dashboard to finish checking and reconnecting the network.
Repeated submissions can create overlapping requests and make the final network state harder to diagnose.

- Identify the server used by the selected network.
- Check whether it is IPv4-only or IPv6-capable.
- Apply the selected approved vHost where compatible.
- Use the trusted IPv4 fallback where required.
- Reconnect only the selected IRC network.
- Leave other user-managed networks connected.
