Web Chat Password and Session Privacy
The Web Chat launcher asks for your BNC password when opening a selected network.
Password handling
The launch process is designed so that your password is not placed in:
Your password may be remembered for the current authenticated dashboard session so another Web Chat launch can open without immediately asking again.
If that remembered session expires, the dashboard will ask you to enter the password again.
Shared devices
When using a shared phone, tablet or computer:
Never send your BNC password to another person claiming that it is required for Web Chat support.

- The visible page address.
- The public page source.
- The Web Chat configuration file.
Your password may be remembered for the current authenticated dashboard session so another Web Chat launch can open without immediately asking again.
If that remembered session expires, the dashboard will ask you to enter the password again.
Shared devices
When using a shared phone, tablet or computer:
- Do not allow the browser to save your password.
- Close Web Chat when finished.
- Sign out of the dashboard.
- Close private-message or account pages.
- Remove any downloaded screenshots containing account information.
Never send your BNC password to another person claiming that it is required for Web Chat support.
