vHost Applied but WHOIS Still Shows the Old Hostname
A newly selected vHost normally appears only after the affected IRC network reconnects.
First checks
Cached or old WHOIS information
An IRC client window may still display WHOIS information collected before the reconnect.
Request a fresh WHOIS rather than relying on an old open window.
IPv4 fallback
If the selected IRC server is IPv4-only, the dashboard may use the approved IPv4 fallback rather than the selected IPv6 vHost.
This is expected compatibility behaviour.
When reporting the problem

First checks
- Confirm that the dashboard reported the action as successful.
- Check that the correct IRC network was selected.
- Allow the network to reconnect fully.
- Run WHOIS again after reconnection.
- Refresh the dashboard and review the current-vHost information.
