Mobile IRC App or Web Chat?

Eggy BNC can be accessed from a phone or tablet using either a mobile IRC application or the dashboard Web Chat feature.

Mobile IRC application

A mobile IRC app is useful when you want:

• A saved connection on your device.
• Background reconnect support.
• Mobile notifications.
• Separate tabs for several IRC networks.
• Client-specific themes and display settings.

The app connects to Eggy BNC using:

Server: bnc.eggy.net
Port: 5000
SSL/TLS: Enabled
Password: Username/Network:Password

Web Chat

Web Chat is useful when:

• You do not want to install an IRC app.
• You are using a temporary device.
• You need quick browser access.
• You want to launch one of your existing dashboard networks.

Web Chat must be opened through:

Dashboard → Web Chat

Both methods use the IRC networks already configured on your Eggy BNC account.
