Mobile Background Connections and Notifications
Mobile operating systems may pause or close IRC applications when they are running in the background.
Eggy BNC remains connected to the external IRC network even when the mobile app is closed, but the app itself may stop displaying live updates until it reconnects.
If notifications stop arriving
Check:
After changing Wi-Fi or mobile data
The app may briefly disconnect when the phone changes network connection.
Allow it to reconnect normally.
Do not configure an extremely fast reconnect loop because repeated attempts can make authentication or network errors harder to diagnose.
Your BNC continues maintaining the external IRC connection independently of the mobile app.
