IPv4 and IPv6 vHost Compatibility
Many approved vHosts use IPv6.
An IPv6 vHost requires the selected IRC server to accept IPv6 connections.
IPv6-capable IRC server
When the selected server supports IPv6, the dashboard can retain and apply the chosen Eggy IPv6 vHost.
IPv4-only IRC server
When the selected server supports IPv4 only, the dashboard applies the trusted IPv4 fallback instead of leaving the network with an incompatible IPv6 BindHost.
This prevents a vHost selection from unnecessarily leaving the network disconnected.
If the selected vHost does not appear
Check:
The selected vHost and the IRC server must use compatible address families.

Check:
- Whether the IRC server supports IPv6.
- Whether the network completed its reconnect.
- Whether the dashboard applied an IPv4 fallback.
- Whether the server hostname is still valid.
- Whether the network has more than one server entry.
