Hiding and Restoring IRC Inbox Threads
The Hide control removes a thread from your normal dashboard Thread List.
This is useful for old, unwanted or completed conversations.
Hiding a thread
The thread should no longer appear in the visible list.
Restoring hidden threads
When hidden threads exist, the IRC Inbox displays a hidden-thread count and a restore control.
Use the restore option to return hidden threads to the visible list.
Important privacy distinction
Hiding a thread changes its visibility within your dashboard.
It does not mean that the underlying BNC log files have been deleted.
If all threads appear missing
Check whether:

- Find the thread in the Thread List.
- Select Hide.
- Allow the dashboard action to complete.
The thread should no longer appear in the visible list.
