Future Plan: BNC Account Review Detection
We've been looking at another feature we may add to the Eggy BNC dashboard in a future update.
There is no confirmed release date for this yet, but the idea is to introduce an Account under review state for accounts that may need a manual check.
If an account is flagged, the user would see a notice in their dashboard letting them know the account is currently under review.
What this would mean
Being placed under review would not automatically mean the account has been suspended or banned.
It would simply mean the account has been flagged for a manual check by an administrator.
Once reviewed, the flag could be removed and the account would return to normal.
Why we're considering it
The main aim is to make it easier to review unusual account activity before it turns into an abuse or security issue.
It also gives users a clear indication that something has been noticed without immediately jumping straight to a suspension.
This would be an additional dashboard feature only and would not change the normal BNC or ZNC service itself.
It is still only part of the future plans at the moment, so there is no confirmed release date yet.
