Complete Setup: Registration to First IRC Connection

This guide covers the complete setup process for a new account.

Step 1 — Create your account

Register through:

https://eggy.net/register

You will need:

• A BNC username.
• A valid email address.
• A secure password.

You may add your first IRC network during registration or choose to add it later.

Step 2 — Sign in to the dashboard

Open:

https://dashboard.eggy.net

The dashboard is used to manage your account, networks, connection commands, Web Chat, vHosts and other available features.

Step 3 — Add an IRC network

Open:

Dashboard → Networks

Choose a preset or enter the network details manually.

Review:

• Network name.
• IRC server.
• Port.
• SSL/TLS setting.
• IRC nickname.

Step 4 — Copy your connection command

Open:

Dashboard → Connect

or:

Dashboard → Command

Copy the command generated for the required IRC network.

Step 5 — Add your password

The copied command uses a password placeholder.

Replace:

<your BNC password>

with your current account password.

Never post the completed command publicly.
