Adding Your First IRC Network

IRC networks are added through the Networks area of the dashboard.

1. Sign in to the dashboard.
2. Open Networks.
3. Choose a network preset or custom setup.
4. Enter a unique dashboard network name.
5. Review the IRC server hostname.
6. Select the correct port.
7. Enable or disable SSL/TLS as required.
8. Enter your preferred IRC nickname.
9. Submit the form once.
10. Allow the dashboard to complete the setup.

Current dashboard presets

Libera.Chat — irc.libera.chat — 6697 — TLS
OFTC — irc.oftc.net — 6697 — TLS
DALnet — irc.dal.net — 6697 — TLS
Undernet — irc6.undernet.org — 6667 — Non-TLS
QuakeNet — irc6.quakenet.org — 6667 — Non-TLS
IRCnet — irc.ircnet.com — 6667 — Non-TLS

Presets fill the common connection details, but you can review and edit them before adding the network.

Network name

The dashboard network name becomes part of your BNC login format.

Use a clear and unique name such as:

Libera
DALnet
Undernet

Do not create duplicate network names within the same account.
