Adding an IRC Network From the Dashboard
New IRC networks are added through the Networks area.
Network name
The dashboard network name is the label used in your BNC connection command.
It must be unique within your account.
For example:
Do not create two dashboard networks with the same name.
Server hostname
Enter only the IRC server address.
Example:
Do not enter:
IRC servers are not website addresses.
After adding the network
Open the Command or Connect area to obtain the correct BNC connection format for the new network.
New IRC networks are added through the Networks area.
- Sign in to the dashboard.
- Open Networks.
- Find the option to add a network.
- Choose a preset or select custom/manual setup.
- Enter a unique dashboard network name.
- Review the IRC server and port.
- Confirm whether SSL/TLS should be enabled.
- Enter the nickname you want to use.
- Submit the form once.
- Allow the dashboard to finish creating and connecting the network.
