Managing IRC Networks From the Dashboard

Use the Networks area to manage each user-controlled IRC network individually.

Available actions may include:

• Add network.
• Edit server details.
• Change the server port.
• Enable or disable SSL/TLS.
• Change the preferred nickname.
• Reconnect a selected network.
• Remove a network.

Adding a network

You can select a network preset or enter custom details.

Presets fill common values such as:

• IRC server.
• Port.
• SSL/TLS setting.
• Network name.

You can review and edit the values before saving.

Editing a network

Saving changes to one network should apply only to that selected network.

Review every field before saving, especially:

• Network name.
• Server hostname.
• Port.
• SSL/TLS.
• Nickname.

Reconnect

Use Reconnect after changing server, port, TLS, nickname or vHost settings.

Submit the reconnect once and wait for the result.

Repeated reconnect requests can make the network state harder to diagnose.

Removing a network

Removal permanently deletes that user-managed network configuration from your account.

Confirm that you selected the correct network before continuing.

Use the dashboard for network changes so the website records and live BNC configuration remain consistent.
