IRC Inbox Module Inactive or Thread Discovery Unavailable

The dashboard may display an error such as:

Eggy BNC inbox module inactive

or:

Thread discovery is unavailable

If the module is inactive

1. Open Inbox Settings.
2. Confirm IRC Inbox logging is enabled.
3. Select Save IRC Inbox Settings again.
4. Refresh the dashboard.
5. Review the module-status field.

Saving the settings again can re-synchronise the feature.

If thread discovery is unavailable

Record the exact helper error shown.

Do not repeatedly enable and disable the feature while the same request is still processing.

Information to report

Include:

• Your BNC username.
• The module-status text.
• The thread-discovery error.
• Whether Premium is active.
• Whether Inbox Settings save successfully.
• The approximate time the problem began.
• Whether private messages still arrive in your IRC client.

Do not include your password or private message contents.
