Current IRC Network Presets

The dashboard provides presets for several commonly used IRC networks.

The current preset values are:

Libera.Chat
Server: irc.libera.chat
Port: 6697
SSL/TLS: Enabled

OFTC
Server: irc.oftc.net
Port: 6697
SSL/TLS: Enabled

DALnet
Server: irc.dal.net
Port: 6697
SSL/TLS: Enabled

Undernet
Server: irc6.undernet.org
Port: 6667
SSL/TLS: Disabled

QuakeNet
Server: irc6.quakenet.org
Port: 6667
SSL/TLS: Disabled

IRCnet
Server: irc.ircnet.com
Port: 6667
SSL/TLS: Disabled

Presets are editable

Selecting a preset fills the common connection details.

Before adding the network, you can review or change:

• Dashboard network name.
• IRC server hostname.
• Port.
• SSL/TLS setting.
• IRC nickname.

Only change a preset when you know that the replacement server and port are supported by the IRC network.

Using an incorrect encryption setting can cause immediate disconnections, TLS errors or connection timeouts.
