Configuring an Android IRC Client

Create a new server or network entry in your Android IRC application.

Use:

Name: Eggy BNC
Server: bnc.eggy.net
Port: 5000
SSL/TLS: Enabled
Server password: Username/Network:Password

The wording may vary between applications.

Look for fields such as:

• Server address.
• Server port.
• Use SSL or TLS.
• Server password.
• Network name.

Several dashboard networks

Create a separate mobile-client entry for each network.

For example:

Eggy — Libera
Eggy — DALnet
Eggy — Undernet

All entries use the same server and port.

Only the network portion of the server password changes.

After saving

Connect once manually before enabling automatic reconnect or background operation.
